Including bumper, USB cable and hand loop.Operates with 3x 1.5 v AA batteries (not included).512 MB Flash-Memory with USB terminal ( for storage of wave files and configurations ).Not bad potential for an inexpensive piece of gear.We have created for you a rating of the Best 24 Audiotools Looking at the eBay listing for an 8024/9024 chameleon ROM, I see an adapter board for the larger rom. A rom with double the capacity has an extra bit pin and you have to solder a switch to that rom pin change the voltage from 0 to 5v and switch rom pages and firmware images.

I think it has to work the same way that the rom mods for old sample rom based drum machines worked to let you have two drum sounds in one rom.

The DSP8024 & DSP9024 use the same hardware with different firmware and there is a modded rom that has both firmwares on it. The DEQ2496 has all the features of the DSP8024 and DSP9024 multi band compressor and quite a few more at 96khz 24 bit fidelity. The EQ specs seem fine for live sound but not for mastering which is why I went for a DEQ2496 when I saw one at a good price. Nachfolgend finden Sie die am häufigsten gestellten Fragen zu Serge Dual.

I also want to use the RTA function with other mics which should show me their actual frequency response if I compare the curve to that of the measurement mic. That's what I'm planning to do with it and see how the curves differ between the several amps I'm using. I used to do sound for the local ballet troupe (they would dance the Nutcracker to recorded versions of the music.), and it was a great way to get a mostly flat response no matter where you set up.Įxactly. Pair it with a measurement mic, and it can automatically build an EQ for sound reinforcement work. So far I've only used the spectrum analyzer. The LCD display is decent but on the simplistic side. It's got DSP based EQ and 1/3 octave spectrum analysis. MisterJ wrote: ↑ Sun 12:04 pm I got a DSP8024 in a local second hand shop just because it was there and cheap.

If I do any mastering with it, I'l use the digital IO and the AD & DA of my interface.

They are supposed to be somewhat noisy with excessive cross talk in the analog section and there are mod boards for it that replace the cheap op amps for better ones. Funny coincidence, I just snagged one on Ebay about an hour before reading this thread so I've got one coming but no experience with it as of yet. It is marketed as a mastering processor and they cost a lot more than the DSP8024. It has a lot more effects, higher resolution AD and DA and digital IO. The DEQ2496 is the newer higher spec version. On eBay and Reverb, they are pretty inexpensive and common. I bought a measurement microphone for doing real time room analysis and I've hooked the line level inputs into a patchbay so I can read the spectra of any audio in my system. It's pretty easy to use and can be switched from stereo, left or right channel or microphone input. I got a DSP8024 in a local second hand shop just because it was there and cheap. Behringer has two of them, the DEQ2496 and the DSP8024 Ultracurve Pros.
